OhMiBod Giveaway Winners!

A week ago, I asked all of you to tell me what turns you on and in exchange, you'd be eligible to win one of our delicious products. As the contest got under way, I wondered if hinging participation on revealing one's turn-ons to the world was a smart thing to do, and then I remembered something -- we sell vibrators. What customer of ours would have anything to hide?

Turns out, I was right. We had a fantastic response on Facebook and Twitter, with quite a few entrants providing turn-ons that, quite frankly, I wish were my own.

So without further ado, congratulations to the following winners and runners up. Winners will get a Freestyle, while runners up will be awarded an OhMiBod Club Vibe.

Winners
Mandy Bull
Gypsy Starr Vidal
Brian Junker
Splendwhore Johnson
Adama Mwatila Mhone

Runners Up
@10enbaum
@NotLolaBatling
Baileythebookworm
@godisvoid
@LaurenMaeO

Please e-mail me your shipping address at: jc at ohmibod dot com and we'll get you squared away.

It's Time for Another Freestyle Giveaway!

So I turned 30 yesterday -- don't worry, I'm fine. A little more crotchety (it's those damn young people and their loud music and horrible clothes. I just don't understand them anymore), but fine. Why? I've got skin like a baby's bum. In any case, moving into a new decade of life has put me in the Freestyle giving mood - maybe it's a part of that whole older/wise thing - so I have a new contest for you.

Tell me what turns you on.

It can be one thing or a zillion things. Team Edward, kisses in the rain, whips and chains, I don't care. Just give me something and be true. Consider it market research.

If you're on twitter, tweet me your answer (@ohmibod) and then:
1. Follow @ohmibod
2. Tweet this message: RT @ohmibod: Want an OhMiBod? 1. Tell me what turns you on 2. Follow @ohmibod 3. Retweet
2b (optional). Retweet often - you get 1 additional entry each time you do it

If you're on Facebook, leave your answer on the page and then:
1. Become a fan
2. Refer a friend to be a fan
2b (optional). Refer tons of friends - if you do this, let me know. You get 1 additional entry per fan you refer.

If you don't use twitter or facebook, then leave your turn on in the comments. And if you want to participate on all three forums, be my guest. It's really that simple. Contest winners will be chosen by random.org at 11:59 pm EST April 1 (no foolin). Good luck :-)

OhMiBod Super Bowl Giveaway Winners

I thought this giveaway would be a fairly easy affair but most of you made it pretty hard on me, as few entrants predicted the right winner and not one of you nailed the final score. No one was even close, to be honest, but don't blame yourselves, blame Peyton Manning.

This was supposed to be the game where he joined the echelon of true NFL QB greats -  the guys who not only owned the competition during the regular season but were gods amongst men in the playoffs as well. After dominating the 2009 season, Manning spent the entire post-season wearing this "bet against me, I dare you" face and bringing the play to back it up. On top of that, he has put up no less than 28 points against Greg Williams' (NO's D-Co) defenses during his career, so even if the Colts defense couldn't stop the Saints' offensive attack, you had to assume that they wouldn't score less than 30.

Whoops.

Since no one could have predicted that Peyton Manning would shed all of his recent development and spend about 50 minutes playing the way he did when the Patriots used to hand him his ass year in and year out, we have two winners of OhMiBod's First Annual Super Bowl Giveaway:
  • Bryan Dupont, New Orleans 31 - 27
  • @lipstickncandy, New Orleans 30 - 28
Please send your shipping address to jc @ ohmibod.com and I'll get you squared away.

Win a Freestyle for Christmas

I can't believe it's December, already. It seems like yesterday that I got all put out at my mother for buying me a $250 poop green corduroy coat instead of the Wii I requested ("but you used to love corduroy!" "I did, Mom. In 1993."), and now, here we are again.

Well, these days, most of us don't have $250 to drop on anything awesome let alone circa '93 corduroy, so I'm gonna play Santa and put a Freestyle wireless music vibe under your tree. But there's a catch -- you have to tell me your favorite song(s) for doing the deed, alone and with a partner.

So catch up with me in the comments here, on twitter (@ohmibod), Facebook or even in the Ask JC section.

I'll announce the winners on the blog next week! Good luck :-)

Ten Twitter Followers Win Freestyles

I've lived and breathed Yankees baseball my entire life, so once we reached the World Series, I got excited and announced a World Series giveaway -- one Freestyle to one lucky OhMiBod Twitter follower if the Yanks could win a 27th title. But as the series got cranking, I quickly realized that the offer wasn't fair. What, screw you if the Philadelphia Phillies won instead?

Not cool.

So we did our Twitter followers one better by offering a Freestyle for every run scored in the final game of the series, and in Game 6, Hideki Matsui, Mark Teixeira and Ryan Howard delivered. The Yankees beat the Phillies 7 - 3 and these Twitter followers will be receiving a Freestyle in the days to come:
  • @DonCoyote
  • @LexicalJewel
  • @BeautifulCity
  • @Sakiizee
  • @Namelesschaos
  • @MsTimaB
  • @1JerzeeDiva
  • @RealmLord1
  • @CyberLizard
  • @yappyJAP
  • @Nabooboo (winner of our $50 iTunes gift card giveaway)
Congratulations all and thanks for participating :)
